Carla is based near Liskeard in Cornwall. She approaches art with a sensitive sense of play and free expression. She uses a mix of media to create unplanned marks and a limited palette of fresh, delicate colours to form a soothing harmony that reflects the natural world. Her Calm and intriguing art reflects the peaceful, wide open spaces & captivating details in nature.
She is particularly inspired by the tiny details & textures within the ever-changing foliage & fauna among the Cornish hedgerows near her home.
