Jane was born in London in 1954 and grew up abroad. She studied in the 1970's at St Martin's School of Art and has exhibited over the years in the South West of England and the USA.
Later she worked with consultants as an Art Therapist at Holloway Sanatorium.
She is currently painting in both oil and acrylic and paints using a limited colour palette. Weather, light, form and texture influence the tone of her paintings, and she feels it’s often in an unexpected way.
Most recently she has been selected for the Society of Women Artists Exhibition at Mall Galleries in London in 2014 and 2015. That same year she was shortlisted for the Threadneedle Prize exhibition in London and was selected for the ING Discerning Eye exhibition at Mall Galleries in London.
For the last 4 years she has been selected for the Southwest Academy Open Exhibition in Exeter.
