Jeannette will guide you step by step to make your own adorable sheep using a dry felting process.  You can choose wool to make your sheep from different sheep breeds – Jacob, Black Nose Vallais, Welsh Mule and Ryelands with their different fleece colours and textures.

You will leave with a beautiful little sheep , 5-7 inches long and 2-3 inches wide made from washed rare breed sheep fleece.

Jeannette Forgacova - Bio

Jeannette fell in love with sheep as a child when spending memorable days at her Grandparent's farm. Their beautiful fleeces have sadly been neglected for many years, the value hardly covering the cost of shearing.  Yet fleece is an eco-friendly, sustainable material for many uses in everyday life.

She bought her first flock of six Welsh MuIe sheep for Border Collie pup Meg to work with. She also visited a farmer friend and helped with lambing and learned how to look after sheep. She loves to watch her beautiful sheep grazing on her smallholding on the Cornwall north coast.

Jeannette also makes rugs, seat pads, scarves using a peg loom weaving process and hats and cushions using dry and wet felting, which we have on sale in the Gallery..
