We have some gorgeous new items in from metalsmith Rebecca Walklett.
Rebecca has a studio space at Potager Garden (www.potagergarden.org) near Constantine.
Rebecca works with materials such as copper, gilding metal & pewter, trying new techniques and patinas while perfecting old ones. She makes jewellery, bowls, boxes and vessels.
These two small tippy bowls are made in dark patina copper and gilding metal . Gilding metal is an alloy of copper and bronze and has a beautiful warm shine.

This exterior of this shallow copper bowl has been hammered with a tiny shaped hammer to give a rippled effect.

This etched copperbowl has a dark patina exterior and etched stones on the interior. Rebecca's inspiration for this piece were the spectacular stones on the ' Dinosaur Egg beach' at Porth Nanven at Cot Valley near St Just.

The contrast of the bright hammered copper and the verdigris make this bowl a stunner.

We also have some of Rebecca's jewellery - a variety of pendants on silver chains, earrings and more .

One of Rececca's most popular items are her candle holders, these are her 'Rocket' candlesticks in black patina and verdigris with hammered copper collars.
