We have recently had new work in from local artist, Laura Workman. Laura is a self-taught artist living in North Cornwall.
Most of the work that we have from Laura is from her Clouds Collection. This framed original features Wenford Dries, a large derelict Grade 2 listed building that was a china clay drying factory near St Breward in Cornwall. It now attracts graffiti artists.

The limited edition print below, Equus, reflects anotther one of Laura's passions - horses. This piece has lots of personality and energy.

Laura works with mixed media on her work - Japanese watercolours, acrylic paint, spray paint, ink and pen and paints mostly on heavy duty watercolour paper and cardboard.
We also have some of Laura's small originals on card and printed greeting cards.

Laura says this about her inspirations:
"From a young age I would be found drawing or painting on whatever I could find, and I still find myself with the same urge to capture what I see.
I have a healthy fascination with clouds, horses and the ocean. I’m also known to paint images of the odd skull or random animals here and there.
My paintings have been visually captured whilst out gazing at the sky, landscapes and all that is within it, including old, derelict and industrial buildings within North Cornwall."
