Judy Smith

Judy travelled to Cornwall once a month for 10yrs and has now lived here for 3 years with her partner. 

 She started her art journey in 2020 to try to take her mind off of Covid. After watching hours of YouTube videos Judy took the plunge and did an E-course with a lady in Australia,  This opened up her mind to what can be achieved just by using paint. 

Acrylic pouring is a captivating form of abstract art in which colour, movement and chance come together to create truly individual works. Layers of fluid paint interact across the surface, forming intricate patterns, delicate cells and sweeping areas of colour that can evoke landscapes, water, stone or entirely imagined worlds. Each piece has its own sense of movement and depth, inviting the viewer to pause, look closely and discover their own interpretation within the work.
