Laura's statement

My name is Laura a self-taught artist living in North Cornwall.

From a young age I would be found drawing or painting on whatever I could find, and I still find myself with the same urge to capture what I see.

I have a healthy fascination with clouds, horses and the ocean.

I’m also known to paint images of the odd skull or random animals here and there.

My paintings have been visually captured whilst out gazing at the sky, landscapes and all that is within it including old, derelict and industrial buildings within North Cornwall.

I enjoy working with Japanese watercolours, acrylic paint, spray paint, ink and pen and will paint on almost anything but currently use heavy duty watercolour paper and cardboard.
