Peter McKiernan

Follwing a childhood dream Peter moved to Cornwall in 2024. He is a self-taught artist, originally from Nottingham but now residing in Launceston. He uses many mediums and for this collection he used pen and water soluble ink.Although Peter has been creating art since childhood, his creative path was set aside to concentrate on raising a family. He has now rediscovered his artistic bent with renewed energy and intention. 

Peter tends to use an abstract and experimental style normally in response to nature, colour and mood. He hopes that his pieces offer a space for reflection and openness, encouraging the viewer to engage with their own response and interprtation.
