Rebecca Oxenham
Jewellery

Rebecca is a jewellery maker and tutor working from her studio in the Cornish village of Tywardreath, a place where sea wind, woodland paths, and the quiet wildness of the landscape shape the work she creates.
Her pieces are born from a deep connection to nature and a commitment to working gently with the earth. She uses recycled silver and ethically sourced materials, crafting jewellery that holds texture, story, and a sense of something elemental.
Jewellery became a lifeline for Rebecca long before it became a business. After nearly three decades in another career in marketing, life shifted unexpectedly, and she was made redundant while suffering from Long Covid. In that pause she found herself returning again and again to the meditative act of making — shaping silver, walking the lanes with her dog Milo, listening to the land. What began as a way to heal slowly grew into a practice rooted in joy, purpose, and quiet ritual.
Today, Rebecca creates small-batch pieces in fine and recycled silver and guides others in discovering the alchemy of silver clay and simple silversmithing. Her workshops are calm, welcoming spaces where beginners can explore the magic of transforming soft clay into solid silver, leaving with a meaningful piece they’ve shaped with their own hands.
To deepen her craft, she trained in the Art Clay Diploma Levels 1 and 2 and became an instructor member of AMCAW. But more than qualifications, it’s the landscape that teaches her — the textures of bark and pebble, the shimmer of the tide, the wild edges of Cornish folklore.
