New items in from metalsmith, Rebecca Walklett
We have some gorgeous new items in from metalsmith Rebecca Walklett. Rebecca has a studio space at Potager Garden ( www.potagergarden.org ) near Constantine. Rebecca works with materials such as copper, gilding metal & pewter, trying new techniques and patinas while perfecting old ones. She makes jewellery, bowls, boxes and vessels. Karen Howse- a new printmaker joining the Gallery
We have work from some excellent printmakers in the Gallery and we are delighted to welcome Karen Howse. Based in North Cornwall, she calls herself an "artist-wanderer practicing walking, drawing and printmaking". She is interested in noticing the patterns that connect our minds with our local wild, drawing people together through place-based projects. Barbara McMillan's gorgeous floral paintings
We are delighted to welcome another local artist, Barabara McMillan. Barbara McMillan Barbara trained at Bath Academy of Art and subsequently taught art in schools and adult centres. She moved to Cornwall from Surrey in 1998 and had a studio gallery in Golant near Fowey and now lives in Lostwithiel. Monique We are delighted to welcome jewellery maker, Monique Jeffrey Jones to the Gallery and have a selection of pieces from her Hawks Tor, Orb and Moorland collections, affordably priced from £40 - £120.
